Our lives are richer and fuller because of him.
And still, he continues to push us, drive us, better us with his simple but strong convictions.
When he was with us, he made us laugh and think at the same time. Amazing isn't it? Life was simply good when he was around. End of discussion.
But the lessons he taught us did not end with his passing. At least for me, he is still making sure I don't stray. Still teaching me. Still being my guardian angel. Now more than ever.
So while I'm sure I'll mourn his passing when September comes around, I think I'll reserve this day for rejoicing. For if we are all endebted to him for so much, can you imagine what life would have been like if he was never born? I couldn't even go there.
So happy birthday little brother, and thanks for all the laughs.
